How to convert .in extension to .com

If the blog address is in the .in extension means no issues we can temporarily change to .com extension. I will explain it with an example. If the blog address is maryansaseoanalyst.blogspot.in means we can convert it by just removing the .in part and add .com/ncr example maryansaseoanalyst.blogsot.com/ncr and press enter then it will automatically change to .com extension.

 Things To Know In SEO

As we all know that SEO means Search  Engine Optimization and this article is mainly focusing the history and important updates on SEO. In 1997 Danny Sullivan was introduced the term search engine optimization. SEO is the method of increasing the number of visitors to a website by top ranking in search engine results. The main three parts of SEO are Crawling, Catching and Indexing. Crawling means scanning of the web pages by the google bots, catching is saving the snapshot to the google database and indexing means listing of the web pages. Metric level data algorithms are used to control SEO.

 SEO Mechanisms

In the earlier stages itself google introduced webmaster tools. A webmaster means the controller of the web page or may be the owner, designer of the web page. At the same time google introduced the mechanism called Niche specific,  niche means category.  After some time google changed the mechanism from niche specific to Content specific. In the content specific one of the important threat is keyword stuffing that is repeating the keywords in the website or injecting the keywords.
Terms in SEOAgain google changed their mechanism from content specific to Link specific that means which website has more links from other websites then that will be in the topmost position in search results. But it was a big failure for google because everyone starts to buy links from other websites so low quality pages also start to visible at the top. Then google moved to the concept  Quality link specific. This ranking is based on trust on websites and the links pointing to a website are more important and it will help to google page rank. And one web spam team had been introduced by the google to find out the spam and also the spammers. The most important thing SEO is meta tag is not using in google from 2009.

SEO Practices

In SEO mainly three types of activities can take place. The first one is Black hat activities and it is the unethical practices. The second one is White hat activities, means the ethical practices, and the third one is Gray hat activities that is partially white hat but a black hat.
If the visit of a web page by search engine, like google, yahoo, bin, then it will be an organic visit. If the user closes a web page within seconds, then google changes the ranking position of that page or demote that result this is called Pogo sticking. In the quality link specific who all are giving more links to other web pages, google controlled it by a method of passing the juice. If a website need to give one link to a website, but no need to transfer their power to that web page, then they can use 'nofollow' method.
In 2009 Google started ranking the web pages by user interest. And also started data centers to collect the details from each center. If the user closes a website within seconds and no interaction had been taking place, then the bounce rate of that web page is high. In the same year itself google started personalized search results. In 2010 social media were more important in the page rankings and it is known as Social Media Signal. So the google started to support the web pages who had more number of interactions in social media and also who had more influence in social media for the search engine ranking.

 Important Google Updates In SEO

In the year 2011 google started their most important updates . It was a great success  after that they introduced advanced versions also.
    google major algorithm updates
  • Panda update: It was released in February 2011. Panda update was mainly for content spamming(content duplication). So it was mainly for lower the page rank of thin pages or low quality web sites and support the high quality web sites.

  • HummingBird update: It was released on 30th August 2013. Hummingbird update was for organic search result. It has been one of  the  important update to Google's search algorithm since the 2010 Caffeine Update. The important thing about humming bird was not a punishing algorithm. It was an advanced technique to boost search engine results.
  • Pigeon update: It was released on 24th July 2014. Pigeon update was related to provide preference to local search results. The important things in this update was location and distance.
